Evening Writing Group
The Evening Writing Group offers support, inspiration, and encouragement for writing about your ancestors, memories of your childhood, or experiences of your life or the lives of other family members. Writers are free to choose their own topics, points of view, and length of their own written work. No criticism is allowed in these super-friendly environments, but praise and topic suggestions are always well-received. Each writer has the opportunity at each meeting to read his latest work. However, there is no requirement to write or to read each month. Any FVGS member is welcome to attend, whether he or she writes or not.
The Evening Writing Group meets on the third Wednesday of the month (except June – August, and December) at 7:00 PM (Central-Chicago). For meeting updates, check the calendar. FVGS members who want to learn more, or who are interested in attending should email [email protected].
