The Fox Valley Genealogical Society has read local cemeteries and published those readings. We have also indexed biographies, historical documents, church records, and local newspapers that contain people who have lived in our geographic area. The Local Names Index provides a way to search for names that are in these cemeteries, documents, records, and newspapers. For a complete list of sources, see List of Documents/Cemeteries below. There are a total of over 46,000 names in the index.
The database also contains information on the location of each cemetery, including the township and county as well as directions and the GPS location. In the case of historical documents, records, and newspapers, the location of the document is given. If you locate a name of interest, the document or cemetery and associated publication are linked. Most of the publications are available from our society.
