A History of a Town in Stone

A new reading of all monuments and markers in the Naperville Cemetery was published in the fall of 2008. This new reading of one of the area’s most historic cemeteries is nearly 500 pages in length and fully indexed.  More than 50 years ago, this cemetery was inventoried by members of the Fort Payne chapter of the D.A.R. and published in the hard-to-find Pioneers of Naperville.  Much information overlooked by that earlier volume will be found in this new publication.  This will be the best possible reading of a historic cemetery that dates to the earliest years of Naperville, Illinois.  This is a joint project of the Fox Valley Genealogical Society and the Naperville Heritage Society.
